With a degree in biology, Carolina has a long experience of more than 20 years in environmental education. She worked in different NGOs and other institutions all over the country, with several publics including students, teachers, families, city halls, among others. She has been working in SPEA since 2018 as an environmental education technician, where she coordinates educational projects in the Citizenship and Environmental Education Department.

With a degree in Biology Teaching from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, she has been a professor of Biology/Geology since 1994. She is part of the SPEA team as a teacher on statutory mobility and develops environmental education actions within school and public communities in general.
